Decided to watch “Brokeback Mountain” tonight. I couldn’t believe the rush of emotions that I felt when it first started to play. There’s something I’ve experienced in that movie that hits very close to home. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed it every time I’ve watched it.
[Post viewing: I cannot believe how sad the end of this movie was with this viewing. I had to watch the "making of the scenes & script adaptation" clips in order to not go to bed with a heavy heart. I thought of my deceased friend Richard... again, because he was so much in that movie. He came on to me and until his death his affection for me was there. I told him things I've been hesitant to say to another man, not because of fear, but because the connection hasn't been there. Maybe there's still that possibility. Paul sure seems to think it can happen, but he's got his own possibilities to seek out which have so far eluded him.]
