Over the weekend my friend Paul finished building me an app that downloads Craigslist ads to which I can send one of two random versions of my resume. We originally sent out a mass email, which google shut down saying it was spam because there was not enough time between sends. So, now it’s set to send one email every 3 mins. if there is anything new in the db instead of one mass email. Once per day, at midnight, the db is replaced by the latest postings. The db is on my computer. So far, it seems to be working and maybe some good work can be found. I think it should be good for finding some work. Paul is going to license the app to a recruiting company. Smart man he is. I’m just the guinea pig in his app testing but, it should yield some good results.
