Walking after looking at Dinner Key Marina, next to Miami City Hall, I saw what was three wadded up bills in our path. $50 was spent on dinner with Paul. It was dark so I could barely see them on the ground but, picked them up because it was sort of real looking. Once I picked it up it certainly got real.
I used to live on a boat, out in the free anchorage, undocked, back in the early 80s. Paul and I went walking about exploring. Since he’s living in Miami now I’m finding out he used to hang out in some of the same places I did, only we certainly didn’t know it. After all, I’m more than 20 yrs older than him and probably would have rarely talked. He was just a teen back then.
