Subtropics Experimental Music & Sound Arts Festival

The Subtropics Experimental Music & Sound Arts Festival started on Thursday but, I attended Friday and Saturday at Dorsch Gallery. It continues on through this week and into next weekend over on Miami Beach. The Nodus Ensemble new music ensemble in residence at FIU was REALLY good. Of course, it was not pop music. This was Karlheinz Stockhausen and other composers. Some of music or, sound art, was created with or, assisted by computers. I’ve dabbled a bit myself, not that I’m willing to share at any time soon though.
