scan-01

Wanting to work the mushroom magic in the darkroom I attempted to create something I can take into the wet darkroom. First, however, I scanned it to see the results today instead of waiting until next week. Only an experiment, this is exciting! No camera.

Yes, isn’t it? It’s like cloudy, milky fog oozing across the surface and around the edges.

I want to get more like this one… it floats in several places visually, not just as a mushroom. I think I know how to get there. Now I just have to get some more mushrooms to test it out. :-)

great piece! gives me that howling at the moons vibe.

great colors, and quite ethereal, too, as someone else commented.

Thanks… I actually rescanned it because one this one I got some digital artifacts from the light refracting off of the glossy surface. It has been exciting and fun, even if it isn’t so original up to this point. Things will improve with further development.
