The process of creating these images is part of what is becoming very exciting because it cannot be totally predicted. Using different supports is going to allow me to work in the wet darkroom although, the possibility of working digitally presents some interesting options since I rarely do stuff that one might call “digital magic.” I find manipulation of photos to create a surrealistic image okay but, not of interest to my work. If there is no visceral response, the work fails (for the most part). So, for me, there is something lacking yet in this series. I’ll get it figured out.
We’ve had lots of rain the past few days. That should mean more mushrooms growing and ripe for harvesting!
